This intricate French Art Nouveau silver and gilt tea strainer was made by Charles Forgelot in Paris around 1905. The circular body is embossed with leafy berried fronds with a pierced central flower within a ring of stars. It has a turned fruitwood handle and measures 145mm long and 60mm across the bowl.
