This attractive and colourful limited edition paperweight was created by William Manson Senior who is a leading Scottish paperweight maker. He was apprenticed to Paul Ysart at Caithness in 1970 and went on to set up his own studio in 1997. This particular example of his work is signed William Manson Snr. and dated 2002 14/50 to base. Condition is very good with minimal age wear. It is a good size measuring 54mm at base. A very pretty paperweight from an excellent designer which will be a welcome addition to any collection
