William Comyns Silver Trinket Box - London 1896

This late Victorian hallmarked silver trinket box by William Comyns has embossed decoration featuring birds amongst scrolling branches and has a vacant cartouche to the hinged lid. Dated for London 1896, it measures 103mm long, 23mm high and 43mm deep. Condition is good with only minor age wear as can be seen in the images. The hinge is sound. A lovely piece of a fine silversmith's art, it will be a pleasure to own.
