This button filling stylish Parker Duofold vintage fountain pen was made in England at Parker’s Newhaven plant. On its launch in 1946 Parker called it the “New Style Duofold”. Easily recognisable with its slightly chunky styling, ornate cap lip band and blind cap metal tassle, it was available in two solid and three marble colours. This particular example is in Classic Black which contrasts well with the rolled gold trim. The barrel imprint states “Geo S.Parker – Parker Duofold Reg. T.M.”. The Parker 14ct medium point nib states “Parker Duofold Pen 14k N” – the “N” referring to the Newhaven plant. It is a good size, slightly chunky, vintage button filling fountain pen measuring 130mm with cap on and 154mm with cap on barrel end. Condition is fair to good with cosmetic wear only and this is reflected in the price. This restored New Style Duofold with its classic styling will now provide many more years of everyday writing service. This button filling Parker Junior Duofold vintage fountain pen was made in America around 1929 and is a classic Parker fountain pen of the period. It is a shortish but chunky pen measuring 116mm with cap on and 144mm with cap on barrel end. The barrel imprint states “Geo S. Parker Duofold – Made in U.S.A. Patented”. The Parker medium point nib states “Parker Pen – 14k N” and is a pleasing writer. The “N” on the nib stands for the UK Newhaven plant and so it is likely that the nib has been changed since the 1920’s. The cap has the Parker Duofold ball ended clip and two rolled gold cap bands. It is in good condition with some general age wear to barrel and cap. This vintage pen is a button filler – you undo the cap at the end of the barrel to reveal a button – depress the button and you deflate the sac – let go of the button and the ink fills the sac – easy. A good shortish chunky everyday writer -  a classic of the period and one that will also sit well in a vintage fountain pen collection. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. Filling instructions will be sent with your order. The aerodynamic design of the Parker ‘51” has made it a classic and the plaudits it has received over the years both in terms of design and reliability are well deserved. It has been marketed as 51…the world’s most wanted pen”. This particular trio example, dating from around 1955, has the classic combination of black body with rolled gold caps. The trio comprise fountain pen, ballpen and expel/repel pencil. As you would expect, all items are in working order. Each cap carries the Parker grey “jewel” in the crown. The fountain pen has a Parker 51 smooth medium point nib. The aerometric filling system is often termed "squeezebox" and is a very simple method of filling the pen with ink by unscrewing the barrel to expose a metal shell covering the ink sac - just press the metal bar and release up to five times and this vintage pen is ready to use. The ballpen has a new black medium point refill and the pencil comes with a phial of the original Parker refill leads – although moden 0.9mm leads will suffice. With regard to condition, there is a small ding on the pencil cap (visible on close inspection of the montage) and the shadows of minor dings on the ballpoint and fountain pen cap – these are reflected in the price - otherwise condition is good with minimal age wear.  The fountain pen measures 136mm with cap on and 150mm with cap on barrel end. The pencil measures 126mm and the ballpoint 128mm. The Parker 51 was an outstandingly popular fountain pen in its day and remains a stylish and extremely good “workhorse” today. This is an excellent vintage trio for everyday use and it comes in a Parker trio box as shown in the montage. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. Filling instructions will be sent with your order. You may select your method of payment at checkout where a currency converter is provided for overseas customers.

This aerometric filling Parker “51” with its gold filled overlay on cap and barrel, was made in the U.S.A. in 1950. Parker called it the “Signet” (the model was renamed in 1957 to Insignia following legal advice). Its aerodynamic design has made it a classic and it has been marketed as 51…the world’s most wanted pen”. The Parker 51 fine to medium point nib states “14k Parker England” so this has obviously been replaced over the years. Condition of both barrel and cap is good with only minor age wear and, in a good light, a very small ding is visible on the cap to the left of the clip. The cap carries the Parker arrow clip and has the Parker grey “jewel” in the cap crown and states “Parker 1/10 14k Gold Filled” around the cap lip. The barrel carries the text  “Made in U.S.A. 50.0”.  The aerometric filling system is often termed "squeezebox" and is a very simple method of filling the pen with ink by unscrewing the barrel to expose the steel sleeve filler covering the ink sac - just press the metal bar and release up to four times and this vintage pen is ready to use. It is a good size fountain pen measuring 135mm with cap on and 149mm with cap on barrel end. The Parker "51" was an outstandingly popular fountain pen in its day and remains a stylish and extremely good “workhorse” today. Representing Parker at its best, this is an excellent vintage fountain pen for adding to a vintage fountain pen collection or to use everyday. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. Filling instructions will be sent with your order. A gift box is available free of charge on request at checkout where you may select your method of payment. There is some light reflection in the montage.

The Parker AF Duofold was made in England and Denmark between 1948 and 1950. The AF refers to the Aluminium Filler system. It functions in the same way as the old button fill method but the “housing” and button is made of aluminium. The Danish version, of which this is a good example, is quite rare and carries the Olsen anchor logo in addition to Parker branding. The Danish colour range was similar to England with the addition of apple green and this terracotta. It is a difficult colour to reproduce but it lives up to its name and closely resembles tan. The contrast of terracotta and rolled gold trim makes for an attractive vintage fountain pen. The barrel imprint states “Parker Duofold – Reg T.M.” and carries the anchor logo. The cap has the Parker Arrow clip with rolled gold crown trim and terracotta “jewel”. The medium width rolled gold cap band has a chevron decoration. The nib states “Parker Duofold Pen 14K N” and has a smooth medium point. Condition is good with only minor age wear and some brassing to the trim. It measures 129mm with cap on and 149mm with cap on barrel end – so it is a good size and slightly chunky. This is a quite rare vintage fountain pen not only due to its Danish production but also to the terracotta colour. It is an ideal addition to a vintage fountain pen collection and a very stylish pen to use as an everyday writer. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. This lever filling vintage fountain pen was made in England by Conway Stewart. The model is No.475 and this example is unusual in that generally it has a single cap band whereas this is an example of the bandless version dating from around 1937. The jet black finish contrasts well with the rolled gold trim. It has the original Conway clip to the domed cap and the barrel has the original Conway lever. The main barrel text is a little worn but states “The Conway Pen – No.475” with the words “Made in England” lower down. The smooth medium point nib states “Conway Stewart 14ct Gold 3”. The 475 is a healthy size Conway measuring 128mm with cap on and 165mm with cap on barrel end. Apart from general minor age wear and some brassing to the trim, this vintage Conway is in good condition and will serve well as a classic Conway every day writer. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. This unusual and stylish late vintage fountain pen was made by Parker in America c1982 and is reported to have been discontinued with the rest of the series in 1983. It was termed the Parker “50” or Parker "Falcon". It followed the success of the original brushed steel Flighter version released in U.S.A. in 1978. The nib is an integral part of the section and on its launch Parker advertised it as the second pen without a separate nib – the first being the quill. Its sleek, elegant and futuristic styling is quite distinct. The polished nib tip is pleasantly offset by the matt brown nib section, barrel and cap with gold plated Parker arrow clip. It has the words “Parker Made in U.S.A.” around the cap lip. It is a slim pen measuring 130mm with cap on and 140mm with cap on barrel end. It has a Parker squeezebox filling system fitted and it will also take current Parker ink cartridges. Condition is very good as can be seen in the montage. With its sleek aerodynamic styling this late vintage fountain pen is suitable to add to a collection or to use as an every day writer if you like a smooth fine to medium nib. All fountain pens are professionally serviced and bench tested prior to offering for sale. A further inspection is carried out before despatch. This squeezebox fill vintage fountain pen - the Parker 45 was launched in the U.S.A. in the 1960’s and proved to be a very popular economy pen. It was named after the famous Western pistol and was the first pen Parker issued which would take an ink cartridge. The model subsequently became available in the U.K. and this example the Parker 45 Harlequin with its Black Shield pattern, carries a date code of 1981. The model was phased out in 1983. Whilst it will take Parker ink cartridges, this particular example also comes with the Parker squeezebox fill system fitted that allows you to also use bottle ink. The nib is made of steel and has a firm medium point. The text around the cap lip states “Parker Made in England UI”. It is a long slim and very stylish pen measuring 135mm with cap on and 145mm with cap on barrel end.
